Freshdesk (from Freshworks) is the most like-for-like Zendesk alternative, offering ticketing, chat, a help center and automations at consistently lower prices — plus a genuine free tier for very small teams, which Zendesk lacks. It's also easier to get running out of the box. The trade-offs show at the top end: the deepest omnichannel and reporting features require the Pro or Enterprise tiers, and bots are an add-on.
